"I receive many kind comments about my bags, mostly because they are so unusual. I am a "one woman band" and produce only tiny quantities of each design, with each one differing slightly so no two are ever exactly the same. I am inspired by the intensity of colour, light and form all around me in this lovely corner of the Duchy which is bursting with creative people."

"I adore fabrics and source all of mine in Cornwall and if I can't find just the right embellishment as a finishing touch then I often make my own. Most of my bags have shoulder straps although I do also make some with shorter straps like a traditional handbag. All my bags are lined and where fasteners are required I use loop and button or a magnetic fastener."

Pale gold medium weight fabric with a burgundy art deco floral design woven into the top layer and lined with a muted shimmering gold polyester, fastened with a gold magnetic clasp, this bag would make a perfect addition to an evening outfit or for a special occasion.
